CrystalConnect allows you to view and analyze live data on your XP3i digital pressure gauge:

• View live reading, along with minimum and maximum values
• View a live graph
• Scroll back through the live data from when you established the connection
• Choose specific points to pinpoint anomalies

CrystalConnect also gives you the ability to manage data logging (stored data) runs on the XP3i:
• Set logging parameters like logging intervals and logging types
• Assign a tag to the data logging run - a technician's name or the wellhead     name
• Start and stop data logging runs remotely
• Share the downloaded files with colleagues
• Save the downloaded files and then upload them from CrystalControlWeb (CCW).
Some of the possibilities available when using CrystalConnect with the XP3i using an established Bluetooth connection:

Avoid Inclement Weather: Turn on the Bluetooth connection on the XP3i and then move into a temperature-controlled vehicle or office. Continue to monitor live pressure or start and stop logging runs while avoiding heat, cold, or moisture. Once you're finished with your work, disconnect from Bluetooth on CrystalConnect, and after a few seconds, the XP3i's Bluetooth connection will turn off, saving batteries.

Improved Work in Hazardous Environments: The XP3i digital pressure gauge is rated intrinsically safe for use in hazardous areas. However, these ratings cover the gauge (and boot) only. Once you connect a cable to the gauge, it is no longer intrinsically safe (the same for other test equipment). This means that before the CrystalConnect app, you would need to disconnect the gauge from its process, remove it from the hazardous environment, and then connect the cable when safe. But now with CrystalConnect, the process is much more straightforward. Connect the XP3i to its process in a hazardous environment and turn on Bluetooth. Start and stop a data logging run from the keypad or through the CrystalConnect app. Once the data logging run is over, connect to the gauge with a Bluetooth connection (instead of a physical cable) and download the data. Connecting through Bluetooth is covered in the XP3i's intrinsically safe ratings, so you can now connect without removing the gauge from its process. You can do this multiple times daily and have each run separated by the names you give them.

Need to Monitor a Gauge Mounted in a Hard-to-Reach or Tight Space? CrystalConnect's ability to display live data makes this process more accessible than ever. A technician will enter the location to install the gauge and then turn on Bluetooth. They can then leave the area and monitor the gauge's live pressure from a safer or more comfortable location.
